Techno pioneers Eat Static celebrate 20 years in the business this year and to celebrate are re-releasing their Mesmobeat albums. The first re-issue is their debut album 'Prepare Your Spirit', a double disc.
The album was originally released in 1992 on Eat Static's own 'Alien' imprint as a cassette only release, and was never commercially available (copies were sold at gigs and via mail-order) In 2001 due to huge demand from the band's fanbase, the long deleted album was finally given a proper release on double CD with new cover art and four previously unreleased tracks (the last 2 tracks on each CD) increasing the number of tracks on the album to 19.

Eat Static continue to be a massive attraction on the live circuit, playing to thousands at festivals in the UK and internationally. Last year they headlined the Glade Festival and this year will appear at Glastonbury, Shamania and Sunrise Festivals
